Hey, I guess you guys have noticed that the world is a fucking cesspool. The only people who are worth talking to are the ones who already know this fact. So hi.
The question becomes, what to do about it? Some options:
1. actively promote death and destruction
2. ditto, except in the inner world
3. retreat from society
4. make beautiful/ugly things
5. find solace in drugs/sex/addiction du jour
6. become an enlightened being (yah right)
7. join a cult, such as burning man or heaven's gate
8. watch TV and sink into mediocrity
9. commit suicide
10. kiss a rubber ducky
Discuss.

Yeah, but don't forget, if you want to join Heaven's Gate you have to get your balls cut off. Doesn't sound like much fun to me.
In a totally unrelated synchronistic thread in an email discussion list, someone suggested that once the Heaven's Gate people got to heaven, God would not want them there. They would have to commit suicide again and come back to earth.
BTW, the person who wrote that is Japanese. -
